Adriana is a barrel of non-stop laughs sometimes. Last Friday night we were up late watching a movie. Adriana came down from her room where she was supposed to be sleeping.

Clichés, Puns, and Anologies

• Yesterday I was carrying in groceries and dropped the bag with the milk in it. I thought that the bag tore, but it turns out that I simply dropped it. The jug busted and milk spilled all over the parking lot. I know I'm not supposed to... but I cried.
• Unintentionally, I told Chantell we should check out the library.
• Chantell was explaining to me that her Aunt and Uncle found a house in North Carolina (where they'll be moving within a couple of months).

  Her Aunt really likes the house they found, claiming "it has windows like she's never seen before. It's beautiful!"

  Chantell continues... Donna should know. She's gone through houses like most people go through underwear.

  This is a family-friendly site, but I'm sure you can imagine the ensuing conversation.

• A few years ago, I was asked to pray aloud with the youth group. I thought one was immune from public scrutiny while in prayer. Boy was I wrong. This one I'll never live down.

  I was praying and thanking God for the wonderful country that we live in... and that we often take for granted our freedom to worship Him. I was trying to think of some politically oppressed communist country nearby that would illustrate my point. My prayer continued God, there are places as near as... (pause... thinking... panic) CHINA that can't worship you freely.

  Looking back... You know Cuba would have been a good choice, but my fate was sealed with those four words as near as China.
