Scary Ring of Fire

After watching Walk the Line this past weekend, I find myself wandering the house singing Ring of Fire.

This morning, Salem responded to one such serenade by saying, "Daddy. I don't really like that song. It's kind of scary."

I'm still not sure if she was referring to the part about me falling into a burning ring of fire or the singing itself.

Sleeping Frugally

Saturday morning, the kids were up at their usual pre-dawn hour and began playing together loudly in the family room.

Chantell, still tight in the clutches of peaceful slumber startled herself awake after yelling, "You kids are too loud... and you're wasting all my money!"
