A wrench was thrown into the school drive-time routine last week when our beloved XM Pops began playing Christmas music. Arguments ensued about not being on the right channel and spun into criteria that defines acceptable Christmas music. Apparently, choral music only qualifies if it is in comprehensible English and includes the phrase "Figgy Pudding" no less than 3 times. XM Pops need not apply.
We finally "settled" on a rotation across a fairly broad spectrum of the XM Holiday dial which resulted in a rather depressing commute this morning to Buck Owen's Blue Christmas Tree... which Salem thought was just downright hilarious.
